Taupe Foxtrot Reticule Drawstring Purse

From an original 1917 pattern

"Duck waddle, chicken scratch, bunny bag, foxtrot!"

These were just some of the dances that were all the rage from 1910-1920. Surely this reticule would have been dangling from the wrist of a lady as she foxtrotted across the floor!

Shown in taupe silk dupioni with black embroidery at all four corners--front and back. Fully lined with black satin.
